BAYSIDE, NB, OCTOBER 10TH 2019 – On October 1st 2019, Kloosterboer Bayside has acquired Fundy Stevedoring Inc. in the port of Bayside. The acquisition includes the stevedoring activities as well as the warehouse (ambient storage) with a capacity of 34,000 sq.ft. The total plot, which is situated next to the premises of Kloosterboer is 40 acres large and offers possibilities for expansion in the near future.
Bayside is an important growing hub for the US east coast distribution with regard to shipments out of Alaska and to Europe (IJmuiden-The Netherlands). The acquisition enables Kloosterboer Bayside to offer their customers a full logistics service.
