Fresh Logisitics service provider Varekamp Coldstores Holland, has achieved IFS Higher Level Logistics and BRC Storage & Distribution certificates. These certificates, received last week, denote proper safeguarding and guarantee of (legal) food safety and traceability.
Following their relaunch as part of the Kloosterboer Group in September 2013, the company has been focused on bringing quality assurance back up to standard as quickly as possible. Internally, all processes and procedures have been revisited and established with the team, after which DNV were able to carry out their audits. With the achieved certification, customers can proceed with even greater confidence in Varekamp for their fresh produce logistics.
