Nordics no longer part of Kloosterboer’s company strategy
Kloosterboer has sold the Moss Coldstore in Norway because of strategic choices. As of 1st December, the cold store will be in hands of Lineage Logistics.
Stephane Pluenet (Executive Director Automation Kloosterboer) indicates that the successful strategy of Kloosterboer, being an integrated supply chain partner for his customers, leads to multiple new locations to be build in a short period. The Nordics are not a key development market in this strategy which leads to the logical step forward to sell Kloosterboer Norway to Lineage Logistics.
Mike McClendon (President of International Operations and EVP Network Optimization, Lineage Logistics) adds that bringing the Kloosterboer Norway facility into the Lineage network enables our ability further serve and reach customers in the Northern European region.
Kloosterboer’s new strategy also implies the re-evaluation of the activities of Kloosterboer Sweden, which is conducted currently.
