Kloosterboer Vlissingen hit by fire

VLISSINGEN, July 6thI 2018 – Yesterday Kloosterboer Vlissingen's coldstore at the Denemarkenweg in Vlissingen-Oost was hit by a severe fire. During the night the fire department was able to control the fire. During the fire one person got injured. Today is confirmed that this person, according to conditions, is doing fine and is dismissed from the hospital.

Currently the balance is made of the caused damage to buildings, grounds and installations. From this morning on, under the given circumstances, we have done our utmost to continue our operational activities as good as possible.

According to the engaged experts, one coldstore inclusive production area was irreparably damaged as a result of the fire. A research to the extent of the damage of the adjacent buildings, is still going on.

The activities at the Denemarkenweg have continued today. The operational capacity has been adversely affected by the fire. We do everything we can to keep the consequences for our customers as limited as possible.

At the Denemarkenweg in Vlissingen, Kloosterboer has five coldstores and two production areas.
