Kloosterboer has bought the former office building and cold store of WILD in Rotterdam, an acquisition which strengthens the company position in the fruit juices and concentrates market. It is expected that Kloosterboer will begin operations and services from this location from the beginning of 2014.
New location
This new location lies within Rotterdam’s fruit juice area. It will be used by Kloosterboer not only for the import, export and storage of fruit juices and concentrates but also to carry out various blending and processing operations. Kloosterboer’s existing cold store and blending station at their location on the Reeweg remain in use.
Blending facilities
Kloosterboer has, in addition to this new location, 3 other blending and processing facilities operating in Vlissingen, Elst and Rotterdam. Annually Kloosterboer processes 350,000 tonnes of fruit juices and concentrates.
