Message from the Board

Dear customers and relations,

The coronavirus affects all of us and this means a lot is changing in the world around us. Our first priority is, of course, the health of our employees in various locations around the world. In addition, we feel a strong responsibility to our customers and we take our role in the food supply chain very seriously. We are committed to continuing the operation and in this way contributing to the global food supply chain.

In collaboration with the General Managers of the locations, Kloosterboer has taken measures, in accordance with national legislation and guidelines, to reduce the chance of contamination. Each location has renewed contingency plans in order to make sure that also in these times the operational process can be continued. This means that many of our employees work from home and the operational employees have adapted working methods, and work in small groups at an appropriate distance. In addition, sites no longer have visits from colleagues from other locations and external visits are kept to a minimum.

Only together we can deal with the situation that has arisen. Our employees are fully committed to keeping the food chain up to standard. We are very proud that they take this responsibility very seriously and we can count on them in these hard times. We ask our customers and partners to have understanding with regard to the measures taken, so we can all ensure that the food chain continues.

The changing circumstances require that we continuously adapt our measures to the most current situation. If you have any questions, we kindly request you to contact the General Manager of the location you normally have contact with.

We would also like to express our sympathie to everyone affected by the Corona virus.

Kind regards,

Mark Ketelaar, Sophia van Tol, Stephane Pluenet
